Event Overview
The Helena Outdoor Triathlon (HOTri) is a multi-sport event featuring several formats and distances. It takes place at Spring Meadow Lake State Park in Helena, Montana.

The Course
The swim takes place in a spring-fed, man-made lake. The bike course uses two-lane roads that have been recently reconstructed, with sheriffs present for safety. The run course is flat and takes place on a trail.
Participant Information
Registration for the triathlon, duathlon, or aquabike includes a post-race meal, an event shirt, a finisher's medal, and age group awards up to third place. A virtual option is available for a fee, which includes a medal. The 5K Fun Run is organized as a fundraiser, and all participants receive a finisher's medal.
All net proceeds from the event are donated to charity, with past beneficiaries including Prickly Pear Land Trust, Queen City Wheel House, and Helena Food Share.
