HeatWave Aquathlon
HeatWave and MicroWave are summer aquathlon races organised by Tuff Fitty Triathlon Club on Sunday 5 July 2026. The event is based at The Wave, Littlehampton BN16 2NA. Each race combines a pool swim in an 8-lane 25-metre pool with a run that follows a circuit through Mewsbrook Park and along the seafront promenade.
The swim takes place in lanes with experienced lane counters to record lengths. The run course is described as flat and well marshalled. Entries are available online only and close on Sunday 28 June 2026; there are no on-the-day entries, no transfers, and no refunds.
Distances offered
- HeatWave: 800m pool swim and 10km run. Minimum age 17.
- MicroWave: 400m pool swim and 5km run. Minimum age 16.
Entry fees are £35 for British Triathlon members and £43 for non-members, the latter including an £8 British Triathlon Race Pass. The ResultsBase registration fee applies. Non-UK residents must provide their own insurance through their federation or a personal provider.
Individual prizes are awarded across female and open categories and several age groups. A single team prize is awarded to mixed teams of four; team results are the combined times of the four nominated members.
