Hearts for Muscles : Event overview
Hearts for Muscles is an inaugural annual 5K Run/Walk hosted by the Dion Foundation in Naples, Florida on February 14, 2026. The event aims to build awareness for Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy and to raise funds to accelerate treatments for children affected by the disease. The course and post-race activities take place at Baker Park, 100 Riverside Circle, Naples, FL 34102. After the race there will be an awards ceremony and a raffle near the finish line, with music, food, white tents, and a photo backdrop.
Race details and logistics
The main event is a 5K run/walk that is chip timed; a clock at the finish line will display times. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers, with additional age-group awards. All finishers are eligible for a medal, limited to the first 150 registrants. The event lists packet pickup and same-day registration as available. Vendors and local booths will be present. The event notes free parking at the venue.
