10th Annual HEARTest Yard + Showmars 5K
The HEARTest Yard and Showmars Restaurants collaborate for the 10th annual edition of this event in Charlotte, North Carolina. The initiative supports the Levine Children’s Hospital, specifically focusing on care for children affected by congenital heart diseases and disorders. The event takes place at Atrium Health Myers Park and features a course through the streets of the Queen City.
Participants can choose from the following event options:
- 5K
- Kids' Fun Run (for children aged 12 and under)
The 5K course is open to both runners and walkers. Following the main race, the Kids' Fun Run takes place in the parking lot area, where children can complete laps based on their age and receive a goodie bag. No separate registration is required for the children's run.
Post-race activities include a celebration with music, refreshments, and inflatables. A separate breakfast event is also hosted at a local restaurant following the race. Packet pickup is scheduled for the day prior to the event at a nearby running store, where participants can collect their race bib and official t-shirt.
