Victory Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K, Hillsdale IN
The Vermillion Trails Alliance hosts the fourth annual Victory Races on April 11, 2026, at Vermillion Rise Mega Park in Hillsdale, Indiana. The event includes a marathon, a half marathon, and a 5k, and the full marathon course is USATF certified and listed as a Boston qualifier.
The races use paved roads through a former military munitions compound. The half marathon and 5k follow a single loop through the compound; the full marathon is two laps of the certified course. The route passes old outposts, TNT manufacturing buildings, VX nerve gas storage facilities, and former military shooting ranges.
Aid and facility details are provided on course. The half marathon has four water and aid stations spaced at about every 2.5 to 3 miles; the full marathon has eight stations; the 5k station is roughly halfway. Each aid station supplies water, Gatorade, orange slices, and granola bar chunks. Port o potties are located near mile 7 for half marathon runners and at additional points for full marathon runners, with facilities also at the finish area.
All finishers receive a medal. Additional race features mentioned by the organizer include unique bib numbers, finisher medals, military themed race shirts, and discounts for veterans and for Vermillion and Parke County students and staff.
