Event Overview
The Lumentum Heart & Soles Run takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California. It is the 13th annual edition of this event, which was founded in 2014.

Participants can choose from several events:
- 5K Walk/Run
- 10K Run
- Kids Run (for ages 2-7)
- Virtual options for the 5K, 10K, and Kids Run
Course and Venue
The course circles around the Santa Clara University campus and along nearby tree-lined streets. The start line is at the corner of Franklin St and Lafayette St on the university campus.
Registration and Beneficiaries
Registration for the in-person 5K and 10K includes a short sleeve tech fabric race shirt, a bib with professional timing, and post-race refreshments. The event is a fundraiser, with proceeds supporting local nonprofits focused on children's health and wellness, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley, the Santa Clara County Office of Education, and the YMCA of Silicon Valley. The event has raised nearly $1 million since its inception.
Post-Race Activities
