The Rutgers University Honors College presents the 2nd Annual Heart & Sole 5K at Buccleuch Park in New Brunswick on October 17, 2026. The event is a community walk and run that takes place at Buccleuch Park, located at 321 Easton Ave, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.

The main event is a 5K Walk/Run. Registration carries a fee of $15. Registration opens on August 1, 2026 and closes on October 17, 2026. Participation is limited to 200 registrants. Bib pickup and a free event t shirt are provided at the Large Pavilion. An award ceremony will follow the event where top finishers will be recognized with awards.

All registration fees and donations collected at the event will support the American Heart Association in honor of American Heart Month. Honors College students may request 2 HC Serves hours for participation.
