Heart & Sole 5K
The Rutgers University Honors College presents the inaugural Heart & Sole 5K, held at Buccleuch Park in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This event raises funds and awareness for the American Heart Association in honor of American Heart Month. Registration for the event is limited to 200 participants.
All registered participants receive a finisher medal and an event t-shirt. The event includes an award ceremony following the race to recognize top performers across several categories. Additionally, raffle prizes are available for all participants. Honors College students can request two community service hours for their participation.
The course is open to both runners and walkers. Participants can collect their materials at the Large Pavilion prior to the start.

Awards are presented to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers overall, as well as the top three in various age groups starting from 14 and under through 60 and over. A specific award is also designated for the top Rutgers University Honors College student. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
