Mountainside PAL Cop Trot 5K & Tot Trot
The event is held at Deerfield School, 302 Central Avenue, Mountainside, New Jersey. It includes a community 5K race and a short Tot Trot for young children.

Registration opens August 11, 2026 for both events. 5K registration closes September 13, 2026. Tot Trot registration closes October 3, 2026. The registration fee for the 5K is $30; the Tot Trot has no fee. The 5K is run Rain or Shine.
Other bib prizes are awarded at the end of the race; winners must be present to receive those prizes. The Cop Trot supports the PAL program in Mountainside, NJ. Programs supported include fall soccer, flag football, cheerleading, travel basketball, open gym, Breakfast with Santa, skate night, an eighth grade pool party, Fourth of July fireworks, Deerfield and GL scholarship awards, and the town garage sale.
