Event Overview

The Heart of Duncanville 5K takes place on the campus of Duncanville High School. This athletic event supports the Duncanville ISD Education Foundation, which provides resources for students and teachers within the Duncanville Independent School District. Participants can choose between two different distances:

3.1 Miles (5K Run)
1 Mile Fun Run

Course and Timing

The 3.1 Miles course is USA Track & Field certified. The event uses chip-timing technology to track participant results. Finishers can access certificates of achievement online following the completion of their distance.

Participant Items and Awards

Individuals who pre-register for the event receive a customized t-shirt. All participants who cross the finish line are awarded a keepsake medal. Cash-value gift cards of $50 are provided to the top overall male and female winners, as well as the top male and female masters winners aged 40 and over.
