Grand Prairie Cinco De Mayo 10K & 5K
The Grand Prairie Cinco De Mayo 10K & 5K takes place on May 2, 2026 in Grand Prairie, Texas. The event is the fourth annual running of these distances and leads into the city’s Cinco de Mayo festival and parade. The course begins and finishes near 120 W Main St, Grand Prairie, TX 75050.
Participants can choose between the following distances:

- 10K
Pre-event and race day packet pickup will be available at the Grand Prairie Farmers Market at 120 W Main St. Event services noted by the organizer include a DJ, vendor areas, and free race photos. Volunteer roles include packet distribution, aid station support to provide water and keep the course clean, and course monitoring to help manage traffic and guide participants.
Awards are given for first place male and female, with additional first, second and third division awards across these age groups: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 plus.
The event has a no refund policy. In extreme weather conditions the start may be delayed, the course may be altered or shortened, or the event may be cancelled. If unable to attend or if the event is cancelled, participants may still receive their packet, shirt and medal and complete the race virtually on their own course.
