HealthCare Access Maryland’s 5K For the Health of It!
HealthCare Access Maryland (HCAM) presents the 5th annual 5K For the Health of It!, a fundraising and awareness event held in Baltimore at West Shore Park, Inner Harbor. The event offers in-person and virtual participation and raises funds to support HCAM programs that connect Maryland residents to health insurance, care, and community resources.

Registration opens December 8. Adult pricing is $25 through January 31, $35 through March 31, and $45 through race day. Youth pricing: ages 6 and under are free (race shirts not included; shirt add-on available for $15), ages 7-17 are $15. There are no refunds of entry for this event.
Virtual participants receive mailed race materials if registered by April 12; later virtual registrations receive materials after the event. Virtual results must be submitted by May 1. Virtual performances are not eligible for overall event awards but will be acknowledged in post-event communication.
Packet pick-up includes an advanced pick-up on April 23 and onsite pick-up on race day. Race amenities for in-person participants include race T-shirts, chip-timed bib numbers, and a goodie bag. Performance awards are planned for top overall male, female, and non-binary finishers and for top male and female finishers across standard age groups.
HCAM reports serving more than 80,000 Maryland residents annually through programs for children in foster care, pregnant and post-partum women, returning citizens, and people with mental health and substance use conditions.
