Health Meets Hope 5K Run-Walk for Mental Health and IDD Awareness : Elberton
The event is a 5K run and walk held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at McWilliams Park, 1041 Mobley Hill Road, Elberton, GA 30635. The event supports the work of Friends of Advantage, an organization that seeks to enhance the lives of people served by Advantage Behavioral Health Systems by expanding knowledge and resources beyond those provided by families, government, grants, or insurance. Friends of Advantage hosts events, seeks new donors, builds membership, and connects people in need with those who want to help.
The program includes family friendly activities, musical entertainment, and on-site food and drinks. T-shirts are available through March 16, 2026. Registration for the 5K carries a base race fee of $25.00 plus a signup fee; the race fee increases to $30.00 after March 16, 2026.
Awards are presented to overall male and female finishers, masters male and female, and first through third place male and female finishers in standard ten-year age groups from 10 and under to 80 and over. The event is part of the 2026 Black Bag Race Series. Finish line management and timing are provided by Classic Race Services.
