Hartwell Bunny Hop 5K - Hartwell Lakeside Park
The Hartwell Bunny Hop 5K is presented by the Pilot Club of Hartwell. The club works to provide resources for brain health and to loan free medical equipment to those in need. For this event the club aims to re-stock loaner equipment and to raise awareness of brain related disorders.
The event is held at Hartwell Lakeside Park, located at 330 Hart State Park Road, Hartwell, GA 30643. The 5K is a USATF certified course GA25002DJ and runs completely inside Hartwell Lakeside Park on paved roads. Timing and finishline management are provided by Classic Race Services. The race is part of the Black Bag Race Series.
T-shirt availability is guaranteed for registrations completed by March 9; after that date shirts are available while supplies last. Entry price for the 5K is listed as $30. Race day operations include on-site registration and packet pickup as well as awards presentations. Awards are given to Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female, and in male and female age groups including 10 and Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 and Over.
