Healing In Motion LA: Glow & Grow 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
Healing In Motion LA: Glow & Grow is a community running event on October 17, 2026 at Cate Square Park, 200 West Charles Street, Hammond, LA 70401. The event combines a timed 5K and a relaxed 1-Mile fun run with an after-race glow celebration and onsite wellness partners.

- 5K Run/Walk 3.1 Miles
- 1 Mile Fun Run 1 Mile
Participants receive a race packet that includes a race bib, a custom Glow & Grow shirt, glow accessories, and local resource information. Free finisher fuel will be available at the finish line. Local wellness, fitness, and lifestyle vendors will be on site to share resources and services.
Awards are planned for both events. The 5K will recognize top overall male and female finishers within age groups. The 1 Mile will recognize top overall male and female for 14 and under. Age categories listed for awards include 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, and continue through 70 and older.
The race benefits Maison Un and Southeast Advocate for Family Empowerment SAFE, and aims to raise awareness and funds to support those impacted by domestic violence. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
