Healing Heart Hustle 5K
The Healing Heart Hustle 5K is scheduled for August 30, 2026, at PFWs Walb Student Union in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The event includes three options: an Adult 5K Run Walk, a Youth 5K Run Walk, and a Virtual 5K Run Walk.
Registration opens April 27, 2026 and closes August 27, 2026. Fees listed by the organizer are $40 for adult registration and $25 for youth and virtual entries. Adult and youth registrations include an official race bib, and registrants who select a t shirt will receive one. Post race snacks and activities are included for in person participants. Virtual registrations include a t shirt if selected and a memorial activity that will be mailed to the participant at no additional cost.
Packet pick up is available before the event at Erin's House for Grieving Children and on event day at PFWs Walb Student Union. Day of registration will be available for last minute participants, though shirts are not guaranteed. Wagons and strollers are welcome and pets are not permitted. A Kids Dash for ages 3 to 8 is part of the event and youth participants must be registered for the 5K.
After the event there will be snacks, games, activities and a free snow cone. Medals will be awarded to the top two male and female finishers in each age group, plus Overall and Masters awards.
