HEADstrong Running aHEAD of Cancer 5K : Swarthmore, PA

The HEADstrong Running aHEAD of Cancer 5K takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania. This is the event's eighth year. The format includes a hybrid event for runners, walkers and HEADstrong Foundation supporters that follows streets through the town.

The event offers two primary options on a paved course. Children and strollers are permitted for both options. Pets are not allowed on the 5K course. In 2025 the event drew over 550 participants, including runners, walkers and volunteers.
