HEADstrong Running aHEAD of Cancer 5K 2026

The HEADstrong Running aHEAD of Cancer 5K is scheduled for Saturday 09/19/2026 in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, with the Inn at Swarthmore as the event site. This edition is the race's eighth year. In 2026 the event drew over 550 participants who ran, walked, and volunteered throughout the town.

The event offers a hybrid format for runners, walkers and HEADstrong Foundation supporters to experience the town and support Nick's House. Children and strollers are welcome for both distances. The course is paved.

Practical details available at the event site include a registration tent located behind the Inn at Swarthmore at 10 S Chester Rd, Swarthmore, PA. Parking is available in the Swarthmore train station SEPTA lot off N Chester Rd. T shirts are only guaranteed for registrants by Friday, August 28th. Pets are not allowed on the 5K course.
