Event Overview
The National Chocolate Day: Run for Chocolates offers three distances: 5K, 10K, and 13.1 miles (half marathon). There is also a separate Family 1 Mile Fun Run and a Virtual Run option. The event takes place at Wiggins Waterfront Park on Riverside Drive in Camden, New Jersey.
Event Details
The event is a private group run with a participant cap per wave. It is open to all paces and ages, with participants under 18 requiring a guardian. Timing is optional, with participants encouraged to track their own time via apps like Strava. No timing chips are used.
Packet pickup is not required; participant swag is shipped directly to the address provided during registration (US only). Race bibs are provided on race day.
Included Items & Extras
Registration includes a running t-shirt, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, a digital training pack, online results, a certificate of completion, and an invitation to join a local run club. An optional upgrade to a technical running shirt is available.
Additional Information
A final update with course maps is emailed the Wednesday before the race. Late registrations are accepted, but shirts may arrive after the event.
