Event Overview
The 2026 HCBA 5K Pro Bono River Run is the 17th annual event. It is a family-friendly run that supports pro bono legal services in Hillsborough County, Florida.
Location and Course
The event takes place at Water Works Park in Tampa, Florida. The 5K course is located entirely along the Tampa Riverwalk, running from Water Works Park to USF Park and back.
Participation and Fees
Registration is open to all individuals who work in the local legal community. There are three registration types with associated pledges or age requirements. The event uses chip timing. The primary goal is for participants to pledge and perform pro bono service hours.
Schedule and Activities
The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026. Activities include a warm-up session, the national anthem, the 5K run, a Judicial Food Festival, and an awards ceremony.
