Event overview
The HBA Eikenburg Law Week Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026, in downtown Houston. The event starts at Sam Houston Park, 1000 Bagby St, Houston, TX. It is the event's 41st year and is sanctioned by USA Track & Field. Proceeds support the Pursuit Center; since 1986 the Houston Bar Association has raised over $1.8 million for that nonprofit.
Distances offered:
- 8K run, with an 8K wheelchair division
- 1 Mile family walk (non-competitive)
Registered participants receive an official event T-shirt, medal, race bib, access to the post-race party, and a beverage at the finish. The course is subject to change and the start location is Sam Houston Park.
Logistics, rules, and services
Packet pick-up is offered at multiple locations and on-site the day of the event. Strollers are permitted on the 1-mile walk and the 8K; pets are allowed on the 1-mile walk if leashed and under owner control. First-aid support and an ambulance will be available on course and at the finish. Refunds are not offered; transfers to another person are allowed if completed in advance. The event is part of the HARRA Spring Series and HARRA members receive a registration discount. Volunteers receive an event T-shirt, after-party access, and a letter validating volunteer hours.
