2026 Annual HBA Eikenburg 8K Fun Run : Overview
The event takes place Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Sam Houston Park, 1000 Bagby St., Houston, TX 77002. The program includes an 8K race with individual, team, and wheelchair divisions and a 1-mile family walk. The event also offers a sponsor-a-participant option to cover participation for residents of The Center for Pursuit.
- 8K: Individual, Team of 3, Wheelchair Division
- 1-mile: Family Walk (single ticket)
Event details, fees, and awards
Standard listed entry fees are: 8K individual $45, 8K team $175, 8K wheelchair $45, 1-mile family walk $20, sponsor-a-participant $25. Prices increase after February 12, 2026. Packet pick-up and timing information will be emailed one week prior to the event. HARRA members receive a $5 discount on the 8K. T-shirts are provided for events as available. Children in strollers do not need a ticket for the family walk.
Finisher medals are provided for all 8K finishers. Individual awards are given 1st–3rd place male and female across multiple age groups (14 and under through 80+), plus overall/Open, Masters (40–49), and Veterans (50+). The wheelchair division has 1st–3rd place M/F awards. Team awards are given 1st–3rd in Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Coed, and Masters (40+) categories. Traveling trophies recognize the top law firm team and top all-student law school team. One hundred percent of entry fees are contributed directly to The Center for Pursuit.
