2026 Annual HBA Eikenburg 8K Fun Run
The event takes place on February 21, 2026 at Sam Houston Park in Houston, Texas. It includes an 8K race with individual, team, and wheelchair divisions, plus a separate family walk of one mile.
- 8K: Individual, Team of 3, Wheelchair Division
- 1 mile Family Walk: Single ticket; strollers do not need a ticket
Medals are provided for all 8K finishers. Awards are given by male and female categories across age groups from 14 and under through 80 and older, with overall awards and separate wheelchair prizes. Team awards are presented in men, women, coed, and masters categories. The event also includes team trophies for the top law firm team and the top all student law school team. Door prizes are offered.
One hundred percent of the event entry fees for the Fun Run are contributed directly to The Center for Pursuit, a nonprofit that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Sponsor a Participant option covers participation for a resident of The Center for Pursuit and includes a t shirt, race packet, and eligibility for prizes.
Additional notes include a five dollar discount for HARRA members, t shirts provided as available, and that packet pick up and timing information will be emailed one week before the event.
