Haytor Heller

The Haytor Heller is a popular and challenging 6-mile moorland race held annually near Haytor Rock in Devon, organized by Teignbridge Trotters. Now in its 39th year, the race features a hilly, single-lap course with steep ascents and descents across rugged, open moorland, including two woodland sections and a stream crossing. The route starts and finishes at Haytor Rock, ending with a fast downhill sprint near the middle car park.

The entirely off-road course includes a water station at Hound Tor (around 4 miles) and enforces a strict one-hour cut-off at this point.
