Hopspiscare Does Dartmoor in a Day
Hospiscare Does Dartmoor in a Day is a fully supported 30 km challenge across Dartmoor, starting at Postbridge and finishing in Ivybridge. The event takes participants through some of Dartmoor’s most remote and scenic areas, including Bellever Tor, West Dart stepping stones, Ryder’s Hill, and a clapper bridge over the upper Avon river, with stunning views of the Erme valley and the sea. Designed for walkers, joggers, or runners with good fitness, the challenge is supported by experienced Mountain Leaders who assist with navigation.
Participants can attend a pre-event navigation workshop and have access to GPS tracking. The event raises funds for Hospiscare, supporting local hospice care. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
