Dartmoor in a Day Ultra
Dartmoor in a Day Ultra is a fully supported endurance event held in Dartmoor, UK, offering two distances: a challenging 50 km ultra and a 30 km challenge. The route starts in Okehampton (50 km) or Postbridge (30 km) and finishes at Ivybridge, traversing wild, open moorland and passing scenic landmarks such as East Okement valley, Hangingstone Hill, Bellever Tor, and the Dartmoor Volcano. The course is almost entirely off-road, with checkpoints at Postbridge and Combestone Tor providing refreshments.
Participants are supported by qualified Mountain Leaders for navigation and safety. The event welcomes runners and walkers of good fitness and includes optional coach shuttles for logistics. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
