Dartmoor in a Day Ultra
Dartmoor in a Day Ultra is a fully supported endurance event held on Dartmoor, UK, offering two distances: a challenging 50 km ultra and a 30 km challenge. The route starts in Okehampton (30 km starts at Postbridge) and finishes at Ivybridge, traversing wild, open moorland and passing scenic landmarks such as East Okement valley, Hangingstone Hill, Bellever Tor, Ryder’s Hill, and the Dartmoor Volcano. The course is almost entirely off-road, suitable for runners and walkers with good fitness.
Participants receive support from qualified Mountain Leaders for navigation and safety. Refreshment checkpoints are located at Postbridge and Combestone Tor, with finishers receiving mementos and refreshments at Ivybridge Community College.
