Dartmoor in a Day Ultra
Dartmoor in a Day Ultra is a fully supported endurance event held across Dartmoor, UK, offering two distances: a challenging 50 km ultra and a 30 km challenge. The route starts in Okehampton (30 km starts at Postbridge) and finishes at Ivybridge, traversing wild, open moorland and passing scenic landmarks such as East Okement valley, Hangingstone Hill, Bellever Tor, Ryder’s Hill, and the Dartmoor Volcano. Participants, including runners and walkers, are supported by qualified Mountain Leaders who assist with navigation and safety.
The event features checkpoints with refreshments and finishes with food, drink, and a finisher’s memento. Optional coach shuttles and GPS tracking are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
