Hawg Run - 5K Run/Walk
Hawg Run is a 5K run/walk held on 10/24/2026 in Lexington, North Carolina. The event starts and finishes at J. Smith Young YMCA, 119 West 3rd Avenue, and follows a neighborhood route that includes Grimes Park. The distance is 5K (3.1 miles).
The course leaves the YMCA parking lot and proceeds through local streets including West 3rd Avenue, West 4th Avenue, Williams Street, Chestnut Street and Westover, enters Grimes Park for at least one lap around the park track, and returns to the YMCA parking area for the finish. The route includes neighborhood streets and park paths.
Registration information notes that registration opens 3/3/2026 and that pre-registered entries received before 9/28 include an official Hawg Run T-shirt; shirts are not guaranteed for later registrations. The listed registration fee is $25.00. Same-day registration is located in the YMCA parking lot. On festival morning parking will be limited and most lots will charge $5.00.
