Haven Project 5K
The Haven Project 5K is a trail running and walking event held at the Lynn Woods Reservation in Massachusetts. The course utilizes the trails near the Great Woods Road Entrance. This event supports programming for housing-unstable youth between the ages of 17 and 24, with proceeds contributing to essential resources and housing support.
The event offers two main participation options:
- The Haven Project 5k: A trail run or walk held on-site.
- The Haven Project VIRTUAL 5k: A remote participation option.
Participants can find bathroom access and free parking at the venue. The first 200 registrants are eligible to receive an event shirt, with size guarantees available for those who register before late August. After the activity, the event features a festival area with food trucks, local vendors, and family-oriented activities. The gathering is open to families and is dog-friendly.
Awards are presented to the top three finishers in the 18+ and under 18 categories for both male and female divisions. Additionally, ribbons are awarded to the top male and female participants in a variety of age groups, ranging from 15 and under to 80 and over. Professional timing for the on-site race is provided.
