Haven Project 5k
The Haven Project 5k is a running and walking event held at the Lynn Woods Reservation in Lynn, Massachusetts. The course utilizes the trails accessible via the Great Woods Road entrance. Participants can choose between two main formats:
- The Haven Project 5k: A 5 km trail race for runners and walkers.
- The Haven Project VIRTUAL 5k: A 5 km remote event where participants submit results during a specific period.
The event supports programming for housing-unstable individuals between the ages of 17 and 24. Facilities at the Great Woods Road parking lot include bathroom access and on-site parking. The venue is dog-friendly and family-friendly, featuring a festival area with food trucks, local vendors, and various activities.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers in the 18+ and under 18 categories. Additionally, the first-place male and female finishers in specific age groups are recognized. These age groups include 15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
