The Hauppauge Fire Department 5K Run/Walk takes place on September 6, 2025, at HFD Headquarters, 855 Wheeler Road, Hauppauge, NY 11788. The event runs rain or shine and serves as a fundraising event for the Hauppauge Fire Department.

Bib pickup opens one hour before the event and includes a Self Lookup area for participants who do not know their bib number. Participants who register three weeks in advance are eligible for a personalized bib.
Amenities and awards
Amenities listed for the event include a T-shirt for the first 200 registrants, post-race stretching provided by Professional Physical Therapy, live music by the Mixtape band, complimentary Duck Donuts, Brendel's Bagels and coffee, live/text/email results, free finish line photos, and same-day finish line video.
Awards are given as medals to the top three men and top three women overall, the top three men and top three women in the First Responder category, and the top three men and top three women in the following age groups: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
