Haunted Hustle - Oakville
The Haunted Hustle is a Halloween-themed run held at Bronte Creek Provincial Park, on the border of Burlington and Oakville. The event features 5K, 10K, and 1K distances. The 5K route is also open for walkers. Participants can choose to wear a costume or not.
All finishers in the 5K, 10K, and 1K events receive a medal. Prizes are awarded to top finishers by age bracket and gender for the 5K and 10K runs. Additional prizes are given for the fastest full costume times in the adult male, adult female, and boy/girl (under 18) categories.
The event site offers family attractions such as face painting, a bounce castle, pumpkin decorating, and hot dogs. Dogs are welcome. The run aims to raise funds for Gore Park Community Outreach, a program addressing hunger and food insecurity in the region.
Entry to Bronte Creek Provincial Park requires a vehicle day-use permit, which can be purchased online starting October 20, 2026. This permit allows access to all park amenities for the day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
