Haunted Hustle - Oakville
The Haunted Hustle is a Halloween-themed running event held at Bronte Creek Provincial Park on the border of Burlington and Oakville on Sunday, October 25, 2026. The event offers multiple distances and options for runners, walkers and families.

The event raises funds for Gore Park Community Outreach with a stated goal of generating $40,000 in donations and net revenue to support programs that address hunger and food insecurity. Medals are awarded to all 5K, 10K and 1K participants. Additional prizes are given to top finishers by age bracket and gender in the 5K and 10K, and there are prizes for the fastest 5K and 10K times achieved in a full costume across adult and youth categories.
Non-runners may walk the 5K loop, and dogs are welcome. On-site activities listed for families include face painting, a bounce castle, pumpkin decorating, hot dogs and a spooky Haunted Hut for children. Bronte Creek Park amenities include a Play Barn, livestock pens, nature trails, a leash-free dog park, frisbee golf and several playgrounds.
To stay in the park on race day, a vehicle day-use entry permit is required at the stated rate of $21 per car; there is no per-person fee and no charge for walking or cycling in.
