Haunted Hustle Oakville : event description
The Haunted Hustle is a Halloween themed run taking place on October 25, 2026 at Bronte Creek Provincial Park on the border of Burlington and Oakville. The event features multiple race distances and family-oriented activities within the park.
Offered distances:
- 5K run or walk
- 10K run
- 1K fun run for children
Participants and visitors can enjoy fall colours and park amenities such as a Play Barn for kids, livestock pens, nature trails, a leash-free dog park, frisbee golf and several playgrounds. On-site activities include face painting, a bounce castle, pumpkin decorating, hot dogs and a spooky Haunted Hut for children. Dogs are welcome.
Medals are awarded to all 5K, 10K and 1K runners and walkers. Prizes are given to top finishers by age bracket and gender for the 5K and 10K. Additional prizes recognize the fastest 5K and 10K times in a full costume in categories Adult Male, Adult Female, Boy and Girl under 18. Bibs and wristbands will be available on race day.
A vehicle day use permit is required to stay in the park and costs $21 per car. There is no per person charge and walking or cycling into the park is free. There is no charge for quick drop-off or pick-up. The online purchase window for the day use pass opens on October 20, 2026. The event aims to raise 40,000 dollars for Gore Park Community Outreach, a registered charity that provides food to over 4,000 people each week.
