Haunted Hustle 2026
The Haunted Hustle is a running and walking event held at Bronte Creek Provincial Park in Oakville, specifically within the Day Use area. The event offers participants the opportunity to experience the park's fall colors through several distance options.
The available categories include:
- 10 km: Chip-timed run.
- 5 km: Chip-timed run or non-timed walk.
- 1 km: Non-timed Fun Run.
- Virtual options: 5 km and 10 km distances for those participating remotely.
The event features a Halloween theme where costumes are encouraged. Prizes are awarded for the fastest 5 km and 10 km times achieved while wearing a full costume, with categories for adult males, adult females, and participants under 18 years old. On-site attractions include face painting and pumpkin decorating, and dogs are permitted in the park.
All finishers in the 1 km, 5 km, and 10 km events receive a race medal. For the timed races, prizes are also provided for top finishers based on age bracket and gender. To maintain event standards, registration is limited to a total of 1,000 participants across all distances. The Haunted Hustle functions as a fundraiser, with net proceeds and donations supporting the Gore Park Community Outreach program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
