Haunted Corner 5K & 10K : Pleasant Hill, CA (October 24, 2026)
Haunted Corner is a map-based evening adventure held in the Poet's Corner neighborhood of Pleasant Hill. Teams of one to five people follow a map to marked checkpoints at decorated houses, answer simple multiple choice questions at each location, and proceed to the next point. The courses are run in a neighborhood setting and use circles on the map to show checkpoint areas; participants find the house at the center of each circle to complete that checkpoint.

- 10K - about 36 checkpoints
The event offers gender divisions (Women, Men, Mixed) and age divisions (Junior, Open, Masters, Family). Completion is based on visiting checkpoints and answering the questions. After returning to the finish, participants can have snacks, drinks, and socialize.
Practical notes: the event runs rain or shine. Closed-toed shoes are recommended and a light is essential, with headlamps preferred. Registration is available in advance and on race day, with fees that increase closer to the event.
