About the race
The Hathersage Hilly Triathlon, organized by Sheffield Triathlon Club, is a novice-friendly event set in the scenic village of Hathersage within the Peak District National Park. The triathlon features a 420-meter swim in a heated, open-air pool, followed by a challenging 21km bike ride through rolling hills offering stunning Derbyshire views. The 6km run course winds mostly through woodland and countryside, with some hills and a rewarding downhill finish.
The event emphasizes a supportive atmosphere with enthusiastic volunteers and introduces "king of the hill" sections on both bike and run.
