Hastings Half Marathon
The Hastings Half Marathon is scheduled for 21 March 2027 in Hastings, East Sussex. Organised by Hastings Lions and Rotary Club, the event comprises a measured Half Marathon and a separate junior Claremont Mini Run.
The course is a road route described as hilly and finishes along the seafront on Sea Road. The race start is on the upper promenade level near breakwater 29, opposite Moreton Mansions, approximately 200 m west of Hastings Pier. Roads are closed until 13:00 on race day.
The Claremont Mini Run is a point to point 2 km event for ages 7 to 16; the finish is in a different location from the start. Parents are responsible for supervising children and only junior participants receive medals.
A Heroes Entry includes a £10 donation to the Hastings Lions Club to support local charities. Prize money is offered for top finishers and for a course record, with payments listed in the event information. Included for entrants are a race programme, a bespoke finishers medal, an accurately measured course, a virtual goody bag, and finish line goodies.
