Event overview
The Hastings Half Marathon takes place in Hastings, East Sussex on 22 March 2026. The event is organised by Hastings Lions & Rotary Club and is based around Grosvenor Gardens, Sea Road, Saint Leonards-on-sea TN38 0BX. The course is a road race with hilly terrain and a downhill second half that finishes near the seaside. The event has been held for over forty years. Roads are closed until 13:00 on race day and the event raises money for local good causes.

Route and race details
The main race starts on the upper promenade level at breakwater 29, opposite Moreton Mansions, approximately 200 m west of Hastings Pier, and finishes at the Half Marathon finish on Sea Road. The Claremont Mini Run is a point-to-point race with a different finish location from the start; only junior participants receive medals. Parents are responsible for supervising children and may choose to accompany younger runners.
Entries, fees and prizes
Standard entry fees listed include Half Marathon £37–£39 and Mini Run £7. An on-the-day Half Marathon entry fee is listed as £45 (subject to availability). Prize money is offered for top finishers and for a course record, including £500 for first place male and female and a £1,000 bonus for breaking the course record.
