Oliver Curd Charity Fun Run & Walk
The Oliver Curd Charity Fun Run & Walk is a point-to-point trail event located in the East Sussex countryside. The route takes participants from Crowhurst Park Holiday Village to Bulverhythe Recreation Ground. This trail course is primarily downhill and passes through local landscapes where livestock may be present.
Participants can choose from the following distance:
- 5 miles (approximate)
The event serves as a fundraiser for the Oliver Curd Trust, a charity providing holiday accommodation for families affected by childhood cancer and other life-threatening conditions. All entry fees are donated directly to the charity, as race expenses are covered by the organizing group.
Prospective entrants should note that the minimum age for participation is 16 years. Due to the nature of the terrain and the presence of livestock, running with dogs is prohibited. As the race follows a point-to-point format, individuals are responsible for arranging their own transport or coordinating car shares between the start and finish locations.
The finish line area features refreshments for participants, including sandwiches, water, cake, and beer. Spot prizes are also distributed during the event. Registration is available in advance or on the day of the event at the designated location. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
