Oliver Curd Charity Fun Run & Walk
The Oliver Curd Charity Fun Run & Walk is a trail running event held in the East Sussex countryside. The race follow a point-to-point route starting at Crowhurst Park Holiday Village and ending at Bulverhythe Recreation Ground. This course is primarily trail and is described as being nearly all downhill. Due to the nature of the terrain, participants should be aware that the distance is approximate and there is a possibility of livestock being present on the course.
All proceeds from the entry fees go directly to a charity that provides holiday accommodation for families affected by childhood cancer and other life-threatening conditions. The event organizer covers all associated race expenses. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transport or car sharing to manage the point-to-point logistics.
The event offers the following distance:
- 5 miles
A variety of refreshments are provided for participants at the finish line, including sandwiches, water, cake, and beer. Spot prizes are also available during the event. Registration is open to individuals aged 16 or older. Please note that for safety and livestock reasons, running with dogs is strictly prohibited.
