Harvest Hustle 5K, 2 Mile Walk, & Fun Run
The Harvest Hustle is a community sports event held in downtown Laurel, Mississippi. The event features multiple distances and categories to accommodate different types of participants:
- 5K running race
- 2 Mile Walk walking only
- Fun Run running race
The course begins at the roundabout located in front of Agape Church. Participants travel through the area and conclude the event at the parking lot situated behind The Heirloom Hotel, known as the Agape Back Lot.
The primary objective of the event is to raise funds for the development of the "Back Lot" space. Planned improvements for this area include a fenced-in section featuring a volleyball court, picnic tables, and a playground for community use.
Participants who register by October 19, 2026, receive a guaranteed t-shirt and a finisher medal. Competitive elements include overall male and female awards for all three event categories, as well as first through third-place awards for specific age groups in the 5K race. The event also features a costume contest for the best-dressed participants, alongside door prizes and a raffle. The finish area hosts food vendors and live music.
