Harvest Hammer Run and Duathlon 2026
The Harvest Hammer event takes place Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Morrison, Illinois, at Morrison High School. The program includes a variety of race options for adults and youth, plus a community Color Run.
- Duathlon: 5K run and 21 mile bike for ages 14 and over (cyclists must wear ANSI approved helmet)
- 5K Run/Walk: 5K, open to all ages
- Wee Run: 1/3 mile, Pre-K to 2nd grade
- Fun Run: 1/2 mile, grades 3-5
- Challenge Run: 1 mile, grades 5-8
- Color Run: open to all ages, free for Harvest Hammer participants
Event features include chip timing, participant shirts available to the first 400 registered, on-site parking, and a free pair of sunglasses for Color Run participants. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to the top three in each age division; duathlon awards also include team categories. The duathlon bike course begins and ends at Morrison High School and follows local roads west to Hillside Road, onto Bunker Hill Road, Lister Road, and back to the school for two laps. The event is held rain or shine and proceeds benefit Morrison Rotary projects for local youth, education, community, and international work.
