HaRUNbee 5K Walk/Run for Healthy Birth Outcomes
The HaRUNbee 5K Walk/Run is a community event organized by the National Coalition for Healthy Black Families (NCHBF) to raise awareness and help prevent unhealthy birth outcomes. The event promotes wellness by encouraging families to maintain mental and physical health and seeks to engage people from the Harambee neighborhood and surrounding communities.
The course is a 5K with the start and finish located at Pete's Fruit Market on North Doctor Martin Luther King Jr Drive in downtown Milwaukee. Participants may choose to walk or run, and babies in strollers are encouraged to attend.
Registration categories and published fees include Adult (18 and older), Youth (17 and under) with or without a T-shirt, Senior (55 and over), and an individual team registration option priced per person for teams of 10 or more. Youth may not be automatically added to a team during registration; the organizer provides alternative arrangements.
The event has been held in previous years and posts results from past editions. Additional organizational and logistical information is provided by the event organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
