Event details
The HaRUNbee is a community 5K walk/run held in Milwaukee on August 1, 2026. The event starts and finishes at Pete's Fruit Market on North Doctor Martin Luther King Junior Drive. It is organized by the National Coalition for Healthy Black Families (NCHBF) to raise awareness and help prevent unhealthy birth outcomes. The event promotes wellness and encourages families to stay healthy mentally and physically. Participants may walk or run, and babies in strollers are encouraged. The event aims to engage people of all ages and races from the Harambee community and surrounding neighborhoods.
Registration and race information
Registration includes several categories with the following prices: Adult (18+) entry at $33.53; Youth (17 or under) with T-shirt at $12.18; Youth (17 or under) without T-shirt is free; Senior (55 and over) entry at $17.51; Individual team registration (for teams of 10 or more) at $17.51 per person. To register as a team, individuals should select the individual team registration option and then create or join a team. Youth cannot be automatically added to a team; adding a youth requires contacting the event organizers. Race day registration and packet pick-up are available at the venue.
