Event
The HaRUNbee 5K Walk/Run for Healthy Birth Outcomes is scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2026 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The event is organized by the National Coalition for Healthy Black Families (NCHBF) to raise awareness and to help prevent unhealthy birth outcomes. The stated mission is to promote wellness by encouraging families to stay healthy both mentally and physically and to engage the surrounding neighborhoods and the Harambee community.
The race will start and finish at Pete's Fruit Market on North Doctor Martin Luther King Junior Drive in downtown Milwaukee. Participants may walk or run, and babies in strollers are encouraged.
Registration and race logistics
Registration categories listed for the event include: Adult (18+) Run/Walk - $33.53; Youth (17 or under) with T-shirt - $12.18; Youth (17 or under) without T-shirt - free; Senior (55 and over) - $17.51. There is an Individual (Team Registration) option for groups of ten or more with a price per person of $17.51. Youth cannot be automatically added to a team.
