Hartford Stewart's Spud Run
Hartford Stewart's Spud Run takes place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Hartford Central School in Hartford, New York, located at Routes 40 and 149, about 15 miles east of Glens Falls. The event is part of the Adirondack Runner Grand Prix Race series and benefits the Hartford Senior Class of 2027.

The 1 mile course includes one hill. The 5K course features rolling hills, including one larger hill. Special Spud Run shirts are provided to all pre-registered 5K entrants. Entry fees are listed as $25 for pre-registration for the 5K and $30 on race day; the 1 mile fun run has no entry fee.
Awards are given for overall male and female finishers with sack-of-potatoes prizes for the top three places, and age-group awards are presented across ten age groups with first, second, and third places. Results will be posted and published; ties are not permitted and the Race Director's decisions are final.
On-site facilities include restrooms and water at the start; there are no showers. Refreshments are provided, including a chili listed as the "Almost Famous Five-Alarm Chili." Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
