The half marathon splits from the full about eight miles in and follows a riverside route back to the downtown finish.
Event services and on-course support described for participants include pace teams, real-time athlete tracking, a sports recovery zone, a massage tent, complimentary baggage check (clear race-issued bags only), and post-race food and expo activities in Bushnell Park. Showers are available at the Downtown Hartford YMCA on race day. Packet pickup is scheduled the Thursday and Friday before race day; there is no race day registration or bib pickup.
Participants receive commemorative finisher medals and custom race shirts. The event also offers a free HMF Milestone membership program with member benefits and an optional paid Milestone+ tier. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
