Harrison Community 5K
The Harrison Community 5K is a community road race held at Veterans Plaza on Harrison Ave in Harrison, NJ. The course runs through the Town of Harrison and West Hudson Park and includes a mix of flat sections and moderate inclines. Professional chip timing is provided by Elitefeats and official race photos and same-day finish line pictures are available.
Amenities listed for participants include a race T-shirt, an official finisher medal, free finish line photos, live results by online/text/email, a recovery zone with massage, a post-race yoga session, DJ music, and photo opportunities. Personalized bibs are offered for entrants who register three weeks in advance.
Water stations are located at the start/finish area and at a mid-course point. Parking information notes free public parking near the event area and possible additional street parking; attendees are advised that parking may become limited closer to the event. Public transportation access includes the PATH train to Harrison Station, with the start/finish area within walking distance.
Bib pickup is available early at CKO Kickboxing, 1100 Frank E. Rodgers Blvd, Harrison, NJ, and also on race day through event staff; last-minute registrants receive bib numbers by text.
Awards recognize the top three male and top three female finishers with trophies, plus age-group awards for males and females in 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+ categories.
