Harrison Community 5K
The Harrison Community 5K is a community road race held at Veterans Plaza on Harrison Avenue in Harrison, New Jersey. The course runs through the Town of Harrison and West Hudson Park and includes a mix of flat sections and moderate inclines. Professional chip timing is provided by Elitefeats and official race photos are available.
All running participants receive an official finisher medal. Event amenities include race T-shirts, personalized bibs for those registered at least three weeks in advance, live results by text and email, free finish-line photos, DJ music, a post-race yoga session, a massage and recovery station, and a community gathering with photo opportunities.
Water stations are positioned at the start/finish area and at a mid-course location. Awards include trophies for the top three male and female overall finishers and age-group awards for the top three males and females in these groups: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Bib pickup is available early at CKO Kickboxing, 1100 Frank E. Rodgers Blvd, Harrison, NJ, and on race day through event staff; last-minute registrants may receive bib numbers by text. Free public parking is available near the event area, and the PATH train to Harrison Station is within walking distance of the start/finish area.
