Harray Half Marathon
The Harray Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 13 September 2026. The starting point and registration are at Harray Community Centre, Harray, Orkney, KW17 2LE. The course runs around the Parish of Harray.
The event is held under a permit from the Scottish Athletics Federation and follows its Rules and Regulations. Runners must be 17 years old or over on the day.
The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs. Running with buggies or pets is not permitted. In-ear headphones are not allowed, though bone conduction headphones may be used.
Online entry is available until Saturday 12 September 2026. Race numbers can be transferred to another runner up until that date; no refunds will be given unless the race is cancelled.
Prizes are awarded for 1st to 3rd places in the following categories: Senior Female 17 to 34, Veteran Female 35 to 49, Super Vet Female 50 plus, Senior Male 17 to 39, Veteran Male 40 to 49, and Super Vet Male 50 plus.
The event has a total of 70 places. Entry fees until 12 September 2026 are listed as £16 discounted and £18 standard. Participants will be advised that their data including names and email addresses will be shared with SAL. A GPX route file is provided for the course.
