About the race
The Harray Half Marathon is a community running event in Orkney, starting at Harray Community Centre (KW17 2LE). The race follows the Half Marathon distance around the Parish of Harray, permitted by the Scottish Athletics Federation. The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs and not suitable for running with buggies or pets; in-ear headphones are not allowed, though bone-conduction headphones may be used.
Runners must be 17 or older. Prizes are awarded in age and gender categories; places are limited to 70. Entry fees range from £16 to £18; a GPX route is online, and participant data may be shared with SAL. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
