Harmony 5K Fun Run
The Harmony 1st Annual Fun Run is a community 5K run and walk held at North Central Park in Laredo, TX. The event offers a 5K Run and Walk open to participants aged 4 and up. Children aged 6 and under must have adult supervision on the course.
Strollers are allowed but should seed themselves at the back of the starting pack. Pets are not permitted on the course except for certified service animals, which will be handled case by case. The course will be explained on race day and cones will mark the route.
Online registration is open and onsite race day registration will be available at the park. Packet pickup details are to be announced. Shirts will be distributed at packet pickup to the first 75 participants; sizes are not guaranteed. Free parking is available inside the park.
Timing for the 5K is provided by Swift Timing using a disposable timing chip attached to the race bib at packet pickup. Overall awards and age group awards use gun or chip time. Age group categories include 13 and under, 14 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 plus. Entry fees listed are 5K Runner $25 and 5K Walker $10, with a $30 late fee applied on the day of the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
