Event Information
The CASA Superhero 5K Run & Walk is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026. The event starts and finishes at North Central Park in Laredo, Texas, with an address on International Blvd.
Distances
The event offers a single 5 km distance for both running and walking participants.
Registration and Fees
Pre-registration fees are $25 for the 5K run and $15 for the 5K walk. Onsite registration fees are higher: $35 for the run and $20 for the walk. Online registration is available through the Zapata Road Runners website. Same-day registration is available from 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
Event Features
The event includes a costume contest with categories for best costume and best pet costume, both following a superhero theme. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age category, as well as trophies for the overall male and female winners. T-shirts are provided for the first 100 pre-registered participants. Packet pickup is available on Friday, April 24, at the CASA office in Laredo. The event features refreshments and music.
