Hardy Middle School 5K Fun Run
Hardy Middle School hosts an annual 5K event at Fletcher's Cove in Washington, DC. Students, parents, caregivers, siblings and Hardy staff are invited to participate.
The event is open to walkers, joggers, and runners and will be held rain or shine. Refreshments are available after the race and near the starting point. The school is running the event in partnership with Fletcher's Cove Parkrun, which provides information about the course and location.
Registration opens March 19. The adult/non-faculty fee is $30 and the student/Hardy faculty and staff fee is $20. Adult registration closes May 2 and student and faculty registration closes May 15. Registrations submitted by May 2 are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
There is ample parking at the site, but the entrance to Fletcher's Cove is narrow and entering may take additional time. The organizers state that financial assistance for the registration fee is available; interested parties should use the event's Questions button to contact the organizers.
