Event
The Hardy Half takes place on 10 May 2026 at Dorchester Rugby Club, Coburg Road, DT1 2HX. The event runs through Dorset countryside associated with the writer Thomas Hardy. Entries from both distances raise funds for local good causes. The event is open to entrants aged 18 and over on the day.

Course and logistics
Most of the routes are on trail with some challenging terrain. The half marathon route includes around 1,400 ft of total elevation gain. Some road sections will be closed for the race. There is entertainment along the routes. The start and finish are at Dorchester Rugby Club, where an event village provides food and refreshments.
Entry and fees
