Hardy Half
This event runs through Dorset countryside associated with the writer Thomas Hardy. Two distance options tour the local landscape and both set their entry fees to raise funds for local good causes.
The course surfaces are mainly trail with sections of more demanding terrain. The half marathon route involves about 1400 ft of climbing. Road sections will be closed for the race and there will be entertainment positioned along the routes.
The start and finish are at Dorchester Rugby Club, Coburg Road, DT1 2HX. An event village at the rugby club provides post-race refuelling and facilities for participants and spectators.
