Haselbury Trailrace 2026
The Haselbury Trailrace is an evening cross-country event held at North Perrott Cricket Club pavilion in Willis Lane, North Perrott. The main race is a scenic two-lap course around local terrain. A shorter fun run covers approximately one lap.
Distances:
- 10K two-lap cross-country route
- 6K approximately one lap fun run, no prizes but full results published
Minimum age for both events is 15 years. The event uses professional chip timing to produce on-the-night and post-event results. The cricket club provides parking, changing rooms and showers; the bar and a BBQ are available during the event.
Prizes include trophies and wine for overall and age-group placings, and a trophy for the oldest 10K finisher. An antique silver cup is kept as a record prize but is not presented. All finishers will receive an event souvenir (details to be announced). Handcrafted trophies are made from recycled hardwood and Ham Hill stone.
This is a cupless event; participants should use a reusable drinking vessel. Up to four water stations may be provided on the 10K course depending on weather. Wheelchair competitors and runners with dogs cannot be accepted. Entry is limited to 250 participants because of parking. Profits will go to local community projects and North Perrott Cricket Club.
