This event is part of the Hardmoors 26.2 series of six trail marathons on the North York Moors and the Cleveland Heritage Coastline. - 27.5 miles (Goathland Trail Marathon)
- Half Marathon
- Trail 10k
The marathon route includes about 4,800 feet of ascent. Routes are circular and not signed - competitors must carry a printed map and race route description and are responsible for their own navigation.
Age limits (on event date):
- Marathon: 18 years or older
- Half Marathon: 16 years or older
- Trail 10k: 10 years or older
Time limits:
- Trail Marathon: 9 hours
- Half Marathon: 6 hours
- 10k: 4 hours
Compulsory kit must be carried or worn for the full duration and includes a waterproof jacket with taped seams, hat, gloves, whistle, spare long-sleeved top, 500 ml of water or sports drink, printed map and route description, head torch or torch (marathon), survival bag and foil blanket, and means to attach the race bib.
