Hard'ack Fall Trail Running Series
Hard'ack Fall Trail Running Series takes place on November 1, 2026 at the Hard'ack recreation area in St. Albans, Vermont (179 Congress Street, St Albans, VT 05478). The series is described as competitive but low key and aims to include participants of different ages and families.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5 km
- 3 km
Participants choose their race distance on race day; pricing and registration are the same for both distances. Courses run on wide cross-country trails that are mostly well mowed grass. When the area is used for high school or college races, the wooded trails are used more than the open meadows.
The terrain is not mountainous, but the courses include some hills. Course layouts generally change from week to week and are selected with current weather in mind, seeking favorable wind conditions. Free refreshments and a random prize raffle are provided after each race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
