Event
The Ghostly Gallop Trail 5K is scheduled for Sunday, October 25, 2026, in Milton, VT. The course is on the Laura's Tears trail at Arrowhead Golf Course, 350 Murray Ave, Milton, VT 05468. The race has a Halloween theme and participants may wear costumes.
Registration and fees
Pre-registration is available online; registration opens January 15, 2026 and online pre-registration closes Saturday, October 26 at midnight. Day-of registration will be open from 8:00 to 9:15 AM. The pre-registration fee is $15; GMAA members receive a $5 discount.
Facilities and services
Post-race refreshments will be provided. There will be two porta-potties and handwashing stations on site. Participants are asked to be aware of other runners and spectators when entering and exiting the race area.
Eligibility, awards and rules
The event is open to runners 12 and older. Runners under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the race. Prizes will be awarded to the top male, female, and non-binary finishers overall; additional prizes will be distributed by raffle. GMAA and insurance rules prohibit running with a baby jogger or dog.
