Happy Days 5K - Elmcrest Park, Ramsey, MN
The Happy Days 5K is scheduled for September 12, 2026 at Elmcrest Park in Ramsey. The event includes a main 5K race and a Youth Fun Run, and it is presented as part of the local Happy Days festival.
The 5K uses a USATF-certified course that runs through park and residential areas and includes a few gentle hills. Awards are given to the top male and female overall finishers and to top male and female finishers in each age group. Age groups are: 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and above.
Registration and shirt details are provided in tiers:
- Jan 1 - May 31: $40, shirt included.
- June 1 - Aug 16: $45, shirt included.
- Aug 17 - Sept 12: $45, shirt not guaranteed unless extras remain.
The Youth Fun Run is a short, just-for-fun event for children. Participants are grouped by age; the younger group runs about 100 feet and the older group about 175 feet. The Youth Fun Run uses the same finish line as the 5K and takes place after the 5K runners have finished.
After the race, the festival area near City Hall on Sunwood Drive NW hosts a parade, expo, food trucks, kids' activities, live music, fireworks, and other festival offerings. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
