Happy Days 5K
The Happy Days event at Elmcrest Park in Ramsey, MN on September 12, 2026 features a USATF-certified 5K and a Youth Fun Run. The 5K follows a mixed park and residential route with a few gentle hills and is described as scenic. A course map is provided for the route.

- Youth Fun Run : approximately 100 feet for the younger group and 175 feet for the older group
The Youth Fun Run is for children ages 9 and under; participants are grouped by age and the youth race uses the same finish line as the 5K and takes place after the 5K field finishes. The event awards top male and female finishers in each age group and overall top male and female. Age-group categories are: 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and above.
Registration is organized in multiple periods through early September. Registrations during earlier periods include a sweat shirt or crewneck for participants; availability of shirts or sweatshirts may change later and sizes are shown during registration. The Happy Days festival activities at the COR, across from City Hall on Sunwood Drive NW, include a parade, expo, food trucks, kids’ activities, live music, and fireworks.
