About the race
Fun Run Mini Series + Championship 5K is a series of in-person 5k runs produced by Minnesota Brewery Running Series at Forgotten Star Brewing Co. in Fridley, Minnesota. The series is built around Sunday Runday 5k events and concludes with a Pre Super Bowl Championship 5k held at the brewery. Each Sunday Runday uses an out-and-back 5k course that participants complete at their own pace.
Participants check in at Forgotten Star Brewing Co. before each run and receive a craft beverage of choice, a collector's coaster, and reserved game day seating at the finish area. Forgotten Star provides a big screen and game day specials during the events, and giveaways are announced at halftime. Completing the final event in the series grants Championship 5K entry, exclusive swag, and a chance to appear in the Losers Bracket awards ceremony.
The Championship includes optional themed challenges such as running in costume, carrying an object, or adding a physical feat at the finish for an extra prize opportunity. Fantasy football league losers registered with a team may receive free registration for the 5k and a chance to win cash prizes.
