26th Annual Hank Aaron State Trail 5K Run/Walk
The event is a community 5K run and walk held on August 8, 2026 at the American Family Field Uecker Lot in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The course is described as flat and fast and winds through Three Bridges Park and restored prairie along Milwaukee's former rail and industrial corridor.
Multiple participation options are offered: chip-timed individual entries, untimed individual entries, timed and untimed team entries, and scholastic team entries for participants age 18 and under and their coaches. Teams must have a minimum of eight members to qualify for team awards and team registration pricing. Published registration fees differ by entry type: individual entries are listed at $35.00, team entries at $25.00 per person, and scholastic team entries at $20.00 per person. T-shirts are available for $5.00.
Event amenities include complimentary coffee and morning treats, post-race refreshments including ice cream and snacks, and a finish-area celebration with a live DJ. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers across 15 age categories and to top teams, with additional team prizes such as a traveling trophy and a team spirit award. Proceeds benefit the Friends of Hank Aaron State Trail to support youth bike camp scholarships, trail stewardship crews, public art and history projects, and habitat restoration.
