Hangover 5k
The Hangover 5k is the Central Jersey Road Runners Club annual 5 kilometer road race held in and around Tamaques Park and the surrounding Westfield neighborhood in New Jersey. The event for 2026 was rescheduled to Sunday, February 22, 2026. This edition is the club's 43rd annual running of the event.
The course is USATF certified and uses flat, tree lined streets with traffic control on the loop. There are water stops on course and post race refreshments at the finish area. A custom hooded sweatshirt is guaranteed for all participants who registered before December 24, 2025 at midnight.
Entry was limited to 750 runners and registration closed once that cap was reached. There is no race day registration and no refunds are processed. Registered participants receive email updates as the event date approaches.
Tamaques Park is open for parking until lots reach capacity. Additional parking is available on nearby residential streets. If a vehicle is parked inside park lots used by the race, participants may be required to remain in the park until race officials or police allow movement for safety reasons.
