Event details
The Hangover 5K takes place on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in Westfield, NJ at Tamaques Park (1081 Lamberts Mill Road). The event includes two 5K races:
- 5K : 43rd Annual Hangover 5K
- 5K : Adaptive Athlete 5K
The course is USATF certified and runs on flat, tree-lined streets in and around the park and surrounding neighborhood. Registered entrants who pre-register are guaranteed a custom-designed hoodie. Post-race refreshments will be available. Registered participants will receive email updates as the event date approaches.
Registration and logistics
Standard registration is listed at $40; the price increases after October 31, 2025. Online registration closes when the field reaches a cap of 750 runners or on December 24, 2025 at 11:59pm, whichever comes first. There will be no race day registration and no refunds under any circumstances. Pre-registration bib pickup opens at 10:30am and closes promptly at 11:45am.
